About the event

The All India IEEE Computer Society Students and Young Professionals Congress is an annual flagship conference hosted by the IEEE Computer Society. It is a gathering of all its members - both professional and students and the various chapters affiliated to the IEEE Computer Society throughout the nation. The goal of the congress is to create awareness about recent advancements made in Computing and associated fields such as Internet of Things, Cloud Computing, Data Science & Analysis, Cyber Security and more.

Reputed speakers from academia and the industry provide insights into the aforementioned domains using their work and experience. In collaboration with them, the congress creates a prolific environment for its members to share the best practices in technology, and also spread awareness about the various benefits provided by the IEEE Computer Society such as Scholarships, Awards Program, Technical Projects, The Digital Library and so on.

The congress also serves another important purpose, to connect the students and the young professionals in the country with distinguished people from academia, the industry and also with members from other sections. The major goal is to create a platform where a technical and cultural exchange of information takes place such that the community prospers while also advancing technology and grooming the future leaders of the country.

In 1976, the Bombay Section was formed with a Territory of Maharashtra,Goa, Gujarat (which later separated to form a Section itself on 15 th August 1990), Madhya Pradesh (which now includes newly formed Chhatisgarh) and Diu & Daman UT (Except Pune Metropolitan City which is separate Section from 26th June 2010), closely followed by Bangalore & Delhi.

Mr. T V Balan of ACC was its first Chairman. Presently, Mr ABHAY PHANSIKAR is the Chairman.

All India Computer Society Student & Young Professional Congress (AICSSYC) is the annual flagship event of IEEE Computer Society in India. It is the best platform to network, collaborate and learn from the brilliant minds of IEEE Computer Society.
Students and young professionals across India who are passionate about the technological advancements. It can be a life changing experience for passionate volunteers from all streams of engineering to network and grow with IEEE and IEEE Computer Society.
AICSSYC is an extra-ordinary platform for the professional members across India to collaborate with the peer members from academia and industry. There will be specific networking sessions and skill building sessions for the professional members as a parallel track.
The Congress registration has two phases.

Phase 1 registrations are open to all the students and young professional members across India. This is a preliminary round where the applicants must fill up basic details regarding their experience and interest with IEEE Computer Society. The applicants need not pay the registration fee during Phase 1.

The selected applicants will receive a confirmation for Phase 2 along with a link to the payment portal. Once second phase registration is done, a confirmation from the AICSSYC team will be sent, registering you as a participant.
No, an extended accommodation before and after the congress will not be provided. But the accommodation between October 11- October 13 will be arranged for all the participants.
Parallel sessions will be available. The various parallel tracks available may include(not limited to) Young Professional/WIC/Entrepreneurship Tracks.
Payment should be done during the second phase of registration. The first phase of registration is open to all and is free of cost.
Cancellation after phase 1 can be done by contacting the email registrations@aicssyc.org However, the phase 2 registrations once done, cannot be cancelled.
There is a discount in the registration to IEEE and IEEE CS members.

The event is also open to non-IEEE members. AICSSYC is a prestigious Congress attended by many eminent professionals and speakers all around the globe, so the congress is open to as many innovative minds as possible.
Yes. The registration fee includes food and accommodation for all the three days of the congress.
Reservation of rooms for accommodation is not required. Your registration includes accommodation and it will be taken care of by the logistics committee.
No, it is not possible. Once you register yourself as a confirmed participant during Phase 2, your registration cannot be cancelled.
